“Please ask yourself, what would your children and grandchildren think of you, and of our generation, when we were so greedy that we left no place for them in our country to enjoy the beauty and abundance of the natural world?

There are so few places left in this country that remain as they were when my parents were kids. My parents care to protect these public lands so that I could enjoy them.

And it's my responsibility and our collective responsibility to pass this inheritance to our children and their children. Please, members of Congress, I'm pleading. We need you to represent us and the public interest now, because once these lands are sold, they are gone.”
